There is a reason for DannyMinick.com. Sure, laughs and giggles of random posts, sayings, pictures and other stuff, but DannyMinick.com is but one thing: my personal blog. Therefore, I have the right to say WHAT I want and HOW I want, and I don’t give a crap about your two cents. If you don’t like it, don’t read it. I do promise this post will not go past this website. You won’t see it on AppleAero or ExpertsUpdate, or any of my other blogs. Those are professional tech blogs and will be maintained as such. DannyMinick.com, however, is all game.
Some of you may know JacobMac01. He is a YouTuber, and an extreme Apple fanboy. He makes Apple users look horrible. And if you aren’t everything Apple, he thinks you are a poser. If you don’t worship the ground Steve Jobs walks on, you are a poser. If you don’t feed from the tit of Steve Jobs, you are a poser. And if you use a Mac and a PC, you are a poser.
So apparently he thinks I am a poser. Fair enough.
He keeps going on about it. Saying how I am not loyal to Apple, how I don’t pledge my allegiance to Steve Jobs. Let me tell you something about Steve. Steve is a man. He is human. He created a company that makes decent computers. HE IS NOT THE MESSIAH. I don’t understand why people who are so in to a company worship this man. He’s just a man. A man who makes money off of all of us. That’s it.
I was in David DiFranco’s chat today, completely minding my own business. I’m sitting there talking to chat room, and guess who shows up to start something with me. JacobMac01. Publicly stating that I blocked him on Twitter (which I did). I ignored it the first few times he spammed the same line over and over, but finally told him to get over it.
He kept going for a while, criticizing everything I said (which is why I blocked him on Twitter) which was fine. I was letting him play his childish games. Whatever, I didn’t care. He kept spelling my name as “Danny Minnick” and I politely said, “Who is Danny Minnick?” To which he then replied, “Your mom.”
Let me tell you something. Little did this prick know, today marks the two year anniversary of my grandmother’s defeat to 32 brain tumors. Her death. I lost my best friend for the rest of my life, and I am not in the mood for infidels like him. The other thing is last week I find out my mother has cancer.
I know all he said was “Your mom” but it enraged me. I didn’t feed the troll any longer. I simply logged out of the chat room.
Today was not the day to mess with me. JacobMac01 is a miserable person and will always be, especially if you state your opinion around him that he does not agree with. That is why he is alone. That is why he is pathetic.
Danny, I really do believe this is a huge misunderstanding. I know Jacob personally (offline) and he would never knowingly insult somebody in such a way. Fanboy yes, but a mean person absolutely not.

You’re going to extremes here, actually on the verge of lying. First of all I am a fan of Apple, just as some people are a fan of World of Warcraft, XBox360, Wii, Playstation, or a sports team, like Colts, Saints, etc.
Yes, I do think Steve Jobs is great, that’s why he won CEO of the decade and he has transformed the computer industry, the music industry, and now the phone industry. What other CEO has had this kind of effect on multiple industries? Not counting he created Next, Pixar, Apple, and revived Apple from death in the mid 90′s. He is a visionary and extremely innovative. Apple is known as the most innovative company in the world. People sit back and watch them ‘create’ trends, not follow them.
You and I are different, as I’m into business, and you are into games. Which isn’t uncommon, as I’m 32, and you’re far younger. So yes, I find Steve Jobs very intriguing because I’m into business. I like studying successful CEOs history, philosophies, and how they conduct business, so that one day maybe I will be an even more successful business owner. Oh and I don’t worship him, I only worship God.
In regards to thinking you’re a poser, I do. You were once a big Apple fan and then soon as the Nexus was released, which is a replica of the iPhone, you’re wanting to switch over. Which is where this all began. I asked you, why do you want to switch to the Nexus and you started trashing Apple and the iPhone. And as to why? Because you said you’ve had 2 iPhones and both have broken on you. I stated “maybe you should take care of your things better” and you blocked me on Twitter. I had only been following you for that day because we were debating about the iPhone.
I enjoy mature debates about gadgets, computers, technology, and phones, because I’m an IT guy. Don’t take it personally, but I only follow around 20 people on Twitter, I just don’t have time to read everyone’s tweets. So when you blocked me on Twitter, I just thought that was very childish. So I asked you about it in TheCreativeOne’s chat. I was even being nice to you and polite. Maybe you took it the wrong way, because, as you said, it was the 2 year anniversary of your grandma passing. Maybe you took your anger out on me?
Regarding the chat yesterday in TheCreativeOne’s uStream. You were the one being a dick, when I said good bye to you, when you were leaving, because you had to go to work at BestBuy, you corrected me and said “who is DannyMinnick.” I mean give me a break.. Later on I said “your momma.” Not necessarily meaning your momma, because I don’t know her, and you were supposedly gone by then, going to work. When there is a chat room with 160 people, I don’t know how you think you are the center of the universe and me saying “your momma” which was a late 80′s slang word, doesn’t mean I am referring to “your momma” that has cancer. How do you relate that? I think that was a low blow from you and so is this blog, where you are personally attacking me and making up stories to fit your attack towards me.
Also afterwards on your Twitter you were saying I looked and sounded gay. So who is in the wrong here? Lots of attacks on me, and when did I personally attack you? I’m confused. I don’t see where your grandma, your mom, iPhone, Apple, or any of this relate to me, and me looking or sounding gay? Basically just come out and bash me, you don’t have to piece together all of these stories to simply say you disagree with me and we’re both entitled to our opinions and beliefs.
Oh and one other thing, people can speak their mind and have their opinions, I actually respect that. What I don’t respect is a poser, a fence rider, a person that is loyal to no one but themselves. I respect someone that states their opinion and stands by it and defends it, which you don’t, which is why I don’t respect you. And one last thing.. I’m not alone, I’ve been in a relationship for 11 years now, since I was 21. But you are alone, if you want to be factual about it.
Be a man, pick a side and stand by it.
I think the disclaimer on your blog, above, sums it all up. Take a minute everyone and read his disclaimer above and what’s right below it. His way or no way is what it says..
I look forward to more factual, product debates with you. Not personal attacks or lies.
Oh and the last final thing.. Personally, I could care less what you think of me and if you like or dislike Apple, Mac, iPhone, etc. and if you like or dislike me, it took me a lot to write this and waste time out of my Sunday afternoon to post this in response to your post.

JacobMac01, you challenge people to the wrong things. If someone doesn’t like something you like you act like a little fanboy. You actually spent time typing up that whole masterpiece when you would ignore it. Wow dude, it seems like YOU can’t even take fire. Next time please keep your flaming homo ass shut and please shut the fuck up for the sake of the world.
Honestly, insulting someones dead relative in public just because you get angry? Grow some balls and be an adult for once. The only reason I defending Danny in this matter is because you have it all wrong. As a matter of fact you were the one who had instigated fights on thecreativeone’s channel the other day. Just because one is starting to like another product, or another team or another something doesn’t mean he is “wussing out”. You are an idiot and are incapable of accepting other peoples opinions. A man chooses what is best for them, they don’t just stay on one thing all of the time.
I feel like this is partly my fault… I never wanted any of this to happen during yesterday’s stream. How about we all just move along and enjoy the day? Just trying to make peace. :)

It’s one thing to be an Apple fan but, when you compare Jobs to Jesus (despise what you’ll protest, you are doing it) it’s time to maybe invest in some iRealFriends. Resorting to “your mom” also tells me you either have mother issues yourself or you’re just that retarded with comebacks.
